It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 12th European Conference of Scientists and Plastic Surgeons (ECSAPS) on 12th - 13th September 2008.
The setting of this year's ECSAPS could not be more exciting:
Bern, the capital of Switzerland, with its medieval ambience offers a multitude of leisure and entertainment possibilities both during the day and at night. The nearby unspoilt and unrivalled mountains and lakes, also invite you to spend a further few days relaxing and exploring.
Choosing the „Schwellenmätteli" as the venue for this meeting is a little experiment on its own; this trendy spot is better known for big parties than for scientific meetings. The ECSAPS experience has, however, proven many a time how well these two seemingly opposites can actually complement each other.
We will celebrate our meeting with a fine dinner in one of Bern's most attractive places, the „Kornhauskeller", an impressive ancient cellar in the heart of the city.
Last but not least, we are very pleased to introduce one of the most prominent and deserving researchers in the field of plastic reconstructive surgery giving this year's key lecture: Prof. Duncan A. McGrouther from the University of Manchester, UK.
